The presenter, who shares her home with two dogs and a tortoise, urged the Government to halt the import of all animal skins.
She said: "The trade is cruel and ugly, and subjects animals to pain and horrendous suffering for frivolous fashion items.
"The UK was right to ban fur farming but while we keep selling fur from animals overseas, we're complicit in their pain.
"Wouldn't it be great to lead the way in Mir animal welfare? What is the Government waiting for?"
The mum-of-two, 48, joins stars including Ricky Gervais, Judy Dench and Chris Packham in backing our call with the Humane Society International/UK for a furfree Britain. She also slammed the&nbsp;"out of touch and awful" craze for wearing vintage real fur as part of the popular "mob wife" look.
The ex-Sky Sports presenter, daughter of golf pro Bernard Gallacher, said that her passion for animal welfare started when she visited zoos as a child and "saw the sadness" in the animals' eyes.
She refuses to take her children to marine parks, calling them "disgusting" for locking dolphins and whales in tanks.
Kirsty, a host on Smooth Radio, also worries BRITAIN about climate change but draws the line at direct action.
She said: "I don't&nbsp;agree with glueing yourself to the road.
