A LABOUR MP has reported a male shadow minister to police, alleging that he sexually assaulted her after a party.
The Metropolitan Police said they were contacted in March about an alleged incident from July 2021.
The alleged victim, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, is said to have spoken to Labour whips about the alleged assault and safeguarding fears.
She was reportedly urged to make a formal complaint.
