HOLOCAUST survivors in the UK and their families will be among those lighting 30,000 yellow candles tonight, in memory of six million Jewish people killed by the Nazis.
The annual Yom HaShoah UK service is being live-streamed so that people nationwide can take part in the moving tribute.
Led by Chief Rabbi Ephraim&nbsp;Mirvis at London's Jewish Care Holocaust Survivors Centre, the event will also honour 13,000 Jewish people who gave their lives in the Warsaw ghetto uprising.
Neil Martin, chair of Yom&nbsp;HaShoah UK, said: "It's important to show the fightback, that the Jewish people didn't just sit there and succumb.
Candice Mendes da Costa, who runs the Yellow Candle project,&nbsp;said every candle carried hugely poignant information about an individual victim of the Nazis.
She said: "Each one comes with the name of someone murdered in the Holocaust, where they were born and the age they were when they were murdered.
