LUKE EYEING A TAYL OF GLORY

LUKE LITTLER has gone from the "middle of nowhere" to the top of the world.

Now the teenage darting sensation is eyeing the records of Phil Taylor.

Littler was powered on by chocolate and sweets as he added another jewel to his crown with his first major ranking win at the Grand Slam of Darts in Wolverhampton.

Littler, 17, wiped the floor with Martin Lukeman in the final to pick up the £150,000 winner's cheque and move to No.5 in the world.

Luke the Nuke burst onto the scene around 12 months ago and reached the World Championship final on debut, eventually losing to Luke Humphries at Alexandra Palace.
