BEN EARL admitted England are licking their wounds after a frustrating Autumn Series - but urged his side to turn the pain into results come the Six Nations.
The backrow won his 37th cap in Sunday's 59-14 win over Japan, which provided precious little cheer after narrow losses to New Zealand, Australia and South Africa.
Boss Steve Borthwick (below) and England will now have to wait until February 1 to try and get a win over the line against a major side, when they go to Dublin to face Ireland in the Six Nations.
Earl insists that the time for gallant defeats is over.
The 26-year-old said: "Now is the time to deliver results.
The performances have been good but now we are feeling the pain.
