Streeting: Moral objections a 'red line'

MEDICS ALLOWED AN OPT OUT ON ASSISTED DYING

MEDICS who have moral objections to assisted dying will not be forced to help people end their lives, Wes Streeting said last night.

The Health Secretary had already revealed he will vote against a Bill that will make the controversial practice legal.

He added: "No one should be compelled to take part in assisted dying if they've got moral or ethical objections as clinicians.

"That would be one of my red lines."
