PRINCE Andrew could have given Beijing spies a route into the royal's inner circle through his Chinese associate, MI5 chiefs fear.
And the King has now been briefed on the embarrassing security breach involving his scandal-hit brother.
A source said Charles was "truly exasperated" over Andrew's latest shady contact, after his association with US paedophile Jeffrey Epstein plunged the Royal Family into crisis.
MI5 are probing how the Prince accepted the suspected spy as a friendly associate. His link to the alleged agent emerged this week after the man lost an immigration appeal against being banned from Britain.
A royal source said: "The King has been briefed about this situation regarding the suspected Chinese spy and is very aware of what has been and what is being done about it." Judges heard the man, known as H6, formed a close working relationship with Andrew, receiving an invitation to his birthday party in 2020 and being told he could act on his behalf.
