GREAT Britain celebrated a record Paralympics haul as the Paris Games went out with a bang at last night's stunning closing ceremony.
After 12 days of incredible sporting feats, our athletes finished second to China on the medal table.
A fireworks display lit up the sky as Jean-Michel Jarre headlined a dance music party at the Stade de France.
Paralympics GB were also a hit as they topped their Tokyo 2020 gold medal haul by eight.
This year they went on a gold rush, winning 49, along with 44 silvers and 31 bronze - making a total of 124.
Last night, the King and Queen sent their "heartfelt congratulations" to ParalympicsGB and Commonwealth athletes for their "numerous successes".
Charles wrote: "Behind every medal won lies a wonderful story of courage, commitment and true talent, matched by a determination that has taken you to the very top.
Your example has succeeded in inspiring, encouraging and lifting the hearts of all. Charles R." ParalympicsGB's most successful day came last Sunday when the squad won 12 gold medals - setting a new record.
The team's previous best for golds on a single day was nine achieved at both Rio 2016 and Beijing 2008.
Britain's most decorated Paralympian, Dame Sarah Storey, 46, stormed to a record 19th gold after Friday's cycling road race. She beat a French teenager 27 years her junior.
