POLICE in Pakistan have told how they are stepping up their bid to find the father of murdered Sara Sharif.
And last night the officer leading the investigation insisted they are closing in on Urfan Sharif, his partner Beinash Batool and brother Faisal Malik who vanished after the 10-year-old girl died.
It comes amid reports that police found a handwritten note at Sara's home which named her alleged killer.
Rawalpindi Region police chief Khurram Ali said: "We are trying our level best to find the suspects and are close to locating them.
"We have interrogated the father, [another] brother and uncle of the prime suspect Urfan.
"It's a matter of concern for our police as a child was brutally killed and it is painful for all of us."
Sharif, 41, 28-year-old Malik and Batool, 29, are understood to have flown to Islamabad the day before Sara was found dead at her home in Woking, Surrey, on August 10.
