THE road to glory will be a family affair for Team GB athletes in Paris.
We have a rare combination of sisters and brothers who will be competing side by side at the Games.
Others will be there to offer siblings support, while ex-professional sportsmen dads will be dishing out advice to their offspring on how to keep their cool on the sporting world's biggest stage.
Track twins Lina and Laviai Nielsen, 28, have defied multiple sclerosis to book their places in the squad.
Their Olympic journey began at the 2012 Games at 16. They walked 15 minutes from the home they share with mum Amanda in Leytonstone, East London, to volunteer at the event. Now they are fulfilling their dream to compete.
Lina told the Mirror: "Everyone stopped us to say hello when we were volunteering in London to say thank you." Laviai added: "The memory of that came back to me when everyone was waving goodbye as we left for Paris.
