Donor Who gifted millions to Tories faces racism rap

TORY party donor Frank Hester is being investigated by police for alleged racist comments he made about Diane Abbott.

The multimillionaire businessman reportedly said looking at her made him "want to hate all black women" and that she "should be shot".

Abbott reported Hester to the Metropolitan Police for his alleged "frightening" comments, apparently made during a private meeting in Horsforth, Leeds, in 2019.

The comments allegedly made by Hester were brought to light by the Guardian in an article on March 11.

West Yorkshire Police yesterday confirmed it was investigating.

A spokesman said officers were "working to establish the fact Tory prime ministe and to ultimately ascertain whether a crime has been committed".

Rishi Sunak has refused to hand back more than £10million donated by Hester, whose IT firm has been awarded more than £400million in Government contracts.
