It includes "provision of live and recorded music" plus quizzes, games and other entertainment services.Traditional Wetherspoon pubs are known for not playing music in the background. But owner Sir Tim Martin plans more of a party atmosphere at the chain's Lloyds Nol pubs.The chain said: "As well as Wetherspoon pubs, which have no music, the company also owns 48 Lloyds Nolpubs, which do. These are sometimes known colloquially as 'Spoons with Tunes'. As a result, it was decided to trademark the name." There are no plans to introduce the idea to other outlets in the 809-strong chain. One of the exceptions to Wetherspoons' no music policy is its Opera House in Tunbridge Wells, Kent which has kept the original building's chandeliers and booths and hosts live opera once a year.
