AN 88-year-old box of royal chocolates has turned up under a late great-gran's bed.
Vera Petchell was given the souvenir to mark the Silver Jubilee of King George V and Queen Mary in 1935, when she was just eight.
Her dad made her promise not to eat them in case they were worth something one day.
But Vera, who died aged 95 last November, misplaced the sweets towards the end of her life.
Her children found them when clearing out her home - and her dad was right, as they are set to fetch up to £200 at auction.
