A PUPIL who stabbed two teachers and another child told police the attack would make her famous, a court heard.

The 14-year-old is accused of targeting Fiona Elias, 48, and Liz Hopkin, 53, before turning on the youngster in her school. She allegedly threatened to kill her victims.

The teenager has admitted three charges of wounding with intent and one of possessing a bladed article. She denies three charges of attempted murder.

The court also heard that after the youngster was arrested she told police: "I'm pretty sure this is going to be on the news. So more eyes will be looking at me. That's one way to be a celebrity."

The girl, who cannot be named, allegedly hid a silver bladed fishing tool in her trouser pocket.
