KEIR Starmer said he found "crisis and failure everywhere" on entering government after 14 years of Tory misrule.
In his first Prime Minister's Questions since Labour's election win, Mr Starmer took aim at his predecessors for their grim legacy.
Yesterday, Lib Dem leader Sir Ed Davey urged Mr Starmer to take a "once-in-a-century" chance to fix the care crisis.
Mr Starmer replied: "There's a crisis and a failure absolutely everywhere after 14 years of failure that this government of service will begin the hard yards of fixing, including on social care."
