BORIS Johnson's honours list yesterday read like a catalogue of shame as he showered gongs on Tory cronies and Partygate aides, sparking outrage.

In the final act of his crisis-strewn time as an MP, the former PM once again stuck two fingers up to the British public by dishing out awards for failure and rule-breaking.

And Rishi Sunak was accused of caving in to Mr Johnson's demands by not blocking the honours.
