DISCOUNT chain Wilko has gone under after bosses failed to find a buyer - putting 12,500 jobs at risk.
The chain is in administration but all 400 of their stores will continue trading. Staff will continue to be paid while desperate attempts are made to secure a rescue deal.
Administrators PwC said: "If buyers for some, or all, of the group are not found, its likely store closures and redundancies will follow."
