FOUR men have been charged in connection the alleged murder of a man who died in pool of blood on his mum's doorstep four years ago.
Tony Ferns, 33, was reportedly stabbed in the neck as he sat behind the wheel of his Audi A3 Audi in Thornliebank, south of Glasgow, on the morning of April 18, 2019.
He made it back to his family home on Roukenburn Street but tragically died in front of his devastated mum, Phyllis.
Police say four men aged 37, 48, 54 and 67 years, have been charged in connection with his death and appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court yesterday.
In May this year, Tony's mum spoke of her anguish at her four-year wait for justice.
Phyllis Ferns said: "I can hardly put into words how devastated I am at the loss of my son. The pain I feel is unimaginable and while I know nothing will bring him back, I need to know who killed him and why his life was cut short."
Phyllis, 66, lost husband Tony snr several years ago and Her other son, Mark, who had a disability, died in his sleep.
Police said: "Four men aged 37, 48, 54 and 67 years have been arrested and charged in connection with the death of 33-year-old Tony Ferns."
