A QUICK EU TURN

EMILY PEDERSEN hit a hole in one as Europe staged a superb fightback to trail 5-3 in the Solheim Cup after the US won all four of the morning matches.

Scot Gemma Dryburgh also played her part in the remarkable afternoon recovery, claiming a battling half point with partner Madelene Sagstrom.

It came after the US recorded just their second clean sweep of a Solheim session as they raced into a 4-0 lead at Finca Cortesin in Spain.

But the defending champions fought back into it by winning the second 3-1 with two wins and two halved matches.
