A FRIEND of a murdered teenager has told a trial how the girl seemed "excited" about meeting the brother accused over her death.
Angel McKean said Amber Gibson had told her she was going to meet Connor Gibson on the night she died.
Gibson went on trial yesterday accused of sexually assaulting and murdering Amber, 16, at Cadzow Glen in Hamilton.
Ms McKean, a friend of Amber's who stayed with her at a children's unit in Hamilton, recalled seeing Amber on November 26, 2021.
She told a court: "She said that she was going to meet her brother and seemed quite excited about it."
