Labour leader sets sights on 48 seats at next Holyrood election

ANAS AT THE DOUBLE

ANAS Sarwar aims to double the number of Labour MSPs at the Holyrood election in two years.

His party believes winning a similar number of seats to Alex Salmond in 2007 will be enough to hand Sarwar the keys to Bute House.

Scottish Labour routed the SNP at the General Election and pundits predict a close race at Holyrood in which either Sarwar or SNP leader John Swinney will be FM.
