PRINCE Andrew has backed ex-wife Fergie in her quest to become a TV star, as he stalls on proving he can afford mounting house repair bills.
The Duke of York is said to be "fully behind" ex-wife Sarah Ferguson's attempts to land a lucrative deal after her guest appearance on This Morning this week.
A friend of the couple claims that Andrew, who still lives with Fergie at the Royal Lodge in Windsor, was "the catalyst" for her accepting the ITV show role.
