Dons boss insists top stars won't be sold

BARRY HAS ZERO GOING CONCERNS

BARRY ROBSON insists neither Duk nor any of Aberdeen's star players will be sold in this window.

The Portuguese striker has been linked with a number of clubs in the past year, with Leeds and Southampton mooted again in recent days.

Robson has already sold Ross McCrorie and Ylber Ramadani in six-figure deals this summer.

But he knows the Pittodrie board under chairman Dave Cormack are trying to build their squad rather than sell off prize assets as the Dons prepare for domestic and Europa League assaults.

The added complication on the Duk deal is that former club Benfica have a 50 per cent sell-on, so it would take a sum truly special to even get Aberdeen to engage.

Boss Robson said: "Nobody will be going out. I know Dave Cormack and the board won't Aberdeen sell anybody fans don't need to worry about that. The board is quite strong on that. We have moved two players in this window for big money.
