BBC and STV should work together to make Scots games free

TV CHANNEL Viaplay's exit from the UK is a golden opportunity for Scotland to seize back the beautiful game for Tartan Army fans for free, it was claimed last night.

As the national side bids to qualify for Euro 2024, BBC and STV bosses have been urged to step in and make their progress free-to-air for everyone to enjoy - after the paywall service said it was leaving a number of countries, including Britain, to pursue other markets.

The subscription channel has the contract to show Scotland's games in the run-up to the Germany tournament, But fans have been left fearing a TV blackout after the company's announcement.
