BBREAKFAST TV legends Nick Owen and Anne Diamond have been supporting each other as they both battle cancer.
Veteran host Owen, 75, this week announced he has been treated for prostate cancer just weeks after Diamond, 68, revealed her breast cancer fight.
Owen told BBC Breakfast: "We both had major surgeries, we've both been talking to each other,&nbsp;either texting or phoning.
Owen and Diamond, who were TV's golden couple when they hosted ITV's Good Morning Britain in the 80s, were diagnosed with the conditions within months of each other.
He added: "It's just so ironic that she and I, who are, I suppose, forever associated as a partnership professionally, we both got quintessentially male female cancers."

It was the same day she found out she was to be&nbsp;made an OBE. Yesterday she said: "It came as a terrible shock when Nick told me he'd been diagnosed too.
"Thankfully, we're both doing well, and hope our news is at least a warning to others to get their health regularly checked."&nbsp;
