CAPTAIN Anne Keothavong was left "gutted" after her Great Britain team blew a golden chance to reach the Billie Jean King Cup Final in Malaga.

Emma Raducanu won her third singles match of the week before Katie Boulter took the lead against Rebecca Sramkova.

But the British team then failed to win another set against Slovakia.

The 2002 champions will now meet Jasmine Paolini's Italy in today's final while Britain's wait to win the World Cup of tennis for the first time will now extend to 62 years.

Members of the team looked close to tears in the post-match press conference.

Keothavong said: "Gutted.

We're all absolutely gutted.
