A multi-agency search was launched to trace the experienced walker and equipment was discovered at the campsite. Police&nbsp;yesterday said a body had been found and although formal identification had not taken place, his family has been informed.
Francis had planned to explore Sgurr nan Eag, Banachdich, Bruach Na Frithe and Blaven.
A police spokesman said: "The body of a man has been found on the Cuillin range in the Isle of Skye."
