SEXIST WhatsApps exchanged between Boris Johnson and Dominic Cummings are set to become public on Halloween as the Covid Inquiry braces for its most explosive evidence yet.

The dynamite probe into the Government's handling of the coronavirus pandemic is due to hear from a string of high-profile witnesses poised to lift the lid on the chaos which engulfed Downing Street as hundreds of people died every day from the disease.

In the most crucial week yet for Baroness Heather Hallett's investigation, Cummings - who was once the Partygate PM's top adviser and most trusted aide but is now his sworn enemy and bitter nemesis - is due for a pandemic grilling on Halloween.

The blockbuster Tuesday morning showdown could see him quizzed about his infamous trip to Barnard Castle to, he claimed, test his eyesight after Britons had been ordered to stay at home.

He is also likely to be questioned about advice he offered the then PM - and whether Johnson was fully focused on the unfolding crisis.

A string of insiders previously revealed how the then premier was distracted by other events in No 10.
