BULLSEYE TEST WAS A BIT OF SABE WRIGHTS A BLUR

PETER WRIGHT has clear sights on a third world title having been blinded at the Ally Pally.

Snakebite faces Jermaine Wattimena for a place in the last 16 and is the last remaining Scot at the business-end of the tournament after defeats for tartan trio Gary Anderson, Cameron Menzies and Alan Soutar prior to Christmas.

But Wright had to scramble past Wesley Plaisier to get there himself and a bizarre moment when he was aiming for shots unable to see.

He admitted: "I've got contacts in, and to be honest, I couldn't see out of an eye properly when I was doing the bullseye because I had two contact lenses in.

"I changed them and thought I had taken one out and put it down. I was saying to [wife] Jo, I can't see properly."

Jacksons to headline UK summer fest

THE Jacksons are set to return to the UK to headline a music festival. The Motown stars - whose hits include Blame It on the Boogie, I Want You Back and Can You Feel It - will top the bill at Guil- fest on Saturday July 5. Only three members of the original line-up - Jackie, 72, Jermaine, 70, and Marlon, 67 - are still alive after Michael died aged 50 in 2009 and Tito died aged 70 last year. Marlon, Jackie and Tito's son Taryll, 49, will perform at the festival in Guildford, Surrey, which sold out last year when it returned for the first time in a decade. Organiser Tony Scott said: \"It is an absolute priv- ilege to have the legendary Jacksons headlining.\" Razorlight will play the main stage on Sunday.
