THREE men were arrested yesterday after reports of a suspicious item at a city centre bus station.
Busy roads were closed, including a motorway off-ramp, and buildings evacuated as the bomb squad shut down Buchanan Bus Station just after 1.10pm.
Late last night, a controlled exposion was carried out and police confirmed nothing suspicious had been found.
Police said: "Officers contacted the EOD (Explosive Ordnance Disposal) and a controlled explosion was carried out.
