MORRISONS shoppers were furious yesterday after a system glitch crippled their loyalty cards and cancelled Christmas deliveries.
Families usually get discounts using their More Card by collecting points to get cash off their big festive food bill.
But many customers who had saved up for months complained that loyalty prices did not apply at the tills.
It left them without discounts they were expecting and unable to redeem £5 vouchers.
Click-and-collect orders were also down with some staff resorting using pen and paper.
