A MAN has been arrested after police officers were allegedly chased by a man with a chainsaw in Paisley.
Two officers were injured in the major disturbance that unfolded on Glasgow Road after a car collided with a police vehicle which then crashed into a wall.
The officers were then reportedly pursued by a man wielding a chainsaw.
A 30-year-old male was later arrested in connection with the incident yesterday afternoon.
The officers involved were treated by paramedics at the scene.
