TV presenter Kirstie Allsopp was stunned by Gregg Wallace branding his accusers "middleclass women of a certain age".
The Location, Location star said of the scandal-hit MasterChef presenter: "That's unacceptable because he's saying this is a class issue and middle-class women don't understand the type of things he says because he's working class.
"Well I'm sorry but he's doing an incredible disservice to men."
Wallace, 60, who stepped aside from MasterChef amid accusations of inappropriate sexual comments and behaviour, had made his remarks in a video appearing to diminish the allegations.
He said he had worked 20 years on the show with 4000 people and had received only 13 complaints.
But his remarks were dismissed by Kirstie who said his behaviour left her so embarrassed she was almost in tears while taking part in the 2016 series.
