Council pensions sink £2bn into fossil fuels

Analysis by Friends of the Earth Scotland and Platform shows Scotland's biggest investor in oil and gas is Strathclyde Pension Fund- administered by Glasgow City Council. It funnelled £618million into fossil fuel firms last year despite a vote by Glasgow councillors to divest from the industry in April 2021.
