<p><strong>A BIKER died in hospital yesterday after a crash, police revealed.</strong></p>
<p>Robert Paton was injured after coming off his blue Suzuki bike on the A891, near Strathblane, north of Glasgow on Sunday.</p>
<p>The 48-year-old was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow for treatment to his injuries but he died yesterday, Police Scotland has confirmed.</p>
<p>Officers closed the road for around eight hours to&nbsp;allow for a full accident investigation to be carried out.</p>

<p>It was reopened at 11.30pm on Sunday.</p>
<p>Police are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the crash or who&nbsp;has dashcam footage from the area.</p>

<p>Sergeant Nick Twigg of Glasgow Road Policing said: &ldquo;Our thoughts are with Robert&rsquo;s family and friends and our inquiries to establish the full circumstances remain ongoing.</p>

<p>&ldquo;I would also ask anyone who was on the A891 around the time and who may have dash-cam footage which could assist to contact us.&rdquo;</p>
