CRUEL CARER IN £8K OAP BANK THEFT

A CARE home worker who siphoned money from an OAP’s bank account flashed what appeared to be diamond rings on both hands as she left court yesterday.

Pauline Gilhooly, from Livingston, showed no emotion as she admitted her crime while wearing multiple rings, a large, gold-coloured watch and a designer bracelet.

Gilhooly, 63, forged pensioner Rosemarie Simpson’s signatures on cheques to transfer cash from the pensioner’s account to her own bank.
