When Steve Donaldson, 61, was 18, his dream was to be a cyclist and compete professionally but his dream was short-lived.

When cycling in 1980, he had pains in his chest and was diagnosed with ventricular tachycardia - a fast heart rate caused by his lower heart chambers.
