DEACON BLUE GIG FOR GAZA

DEACON Blue will headline a host of Scots acts at a special concert tonight to raise money for people affected by the conflict in Gaza.

Thousands of music fans are expected to pack the Glasgow Gig for Gaza at the city's Royal Concert Hall, which will also feature indie band Admiral Fallow and folk favourites Siobhan Miller and Capercaillie.

The fundraiser for the charity Medical Aid for Palestinians was organised by Donald Shaw, who is the boss of folk festival Celtic Connections.
