ROSS DOCHERTY reckons racking up fewer miles on the road will only help him chalk up more on the pitch.
The Dundee United skipper has endured nightmares over the past eight months, with various injuries curtailing his impact in the engine room at Tannadice.
The midfielder admits daily trips from his hometown Paisley played a huge factor in his stop-start season last term.
But he has moved north to Dundee, sparing him more minutes in the motor and on Tony Watt's car school vlogs.
He said: "I've moved up to Dundee now. I'm hoping that solves a few issues.
"It's more managing my body, it's realising I'm not in my mid-20s any more. The way I train and I am, it's intense for training and games.
"We're in Dundee at the moment. We're still looking for somewhere permanently but it's just good to be up here and be settled.
"I'm hoping to get back and play some part on Sunday. If I can, I'd love to be involved.
