LIDL has unveiled a new deodorant inspired by Leith in Edinburgh, which it describes as "booze soaked beer mats and friendly dugs aplenty".
It has created the limited-edition range inspired by places where its Cien range sells best: Leith, Peckham, Hull and Barry in Wales.
The Leith scent is described on the box as "an eclectic aroma that reflects the area's sense of community&nbsp;spirit and perseverance, with an undercurrent of its industrious roots.
"Not to forget its artistic flair, fresh sea air, locally baked sourdough, booze soaked beer mats and friendly dugs aplenty - this one really is not to be mist!"
The supermarket said:&nbsp;"Knowing how much our chosen four areas love our Cien range, we wanted to make sure they felt the love back this Christmas."
Leithers weren't sure of Lidl's description of their area. Jenny Robertson said: "It's lovely to hear that the area is being given its own bespoke fragrance. But I'm not sure if soaked beer mats or friendly dogs is really the aroma we want."
Robert McMillan added: "Just as well it's not inspired by Seafield (the local sewage works)."
The range is not available in store but Lidl is giving away 500 gift boxes.&nbsp;Customers can register an interest at info@lidlcien.co.uk until December 7.
