Family pay tribute to Jordan after death in Ukraine war

THE family of a hero Scots medic who died in Ukraine have paid tribute to his bravery.

Jordan Maclachlan, from Ardnamurchan in the Highlands, was killed in action by Russian troops last week.

Relatives have revealed the 26-yearold died with his best friend by his side.

His family said: "Jordan always believed that he was making a difference and we are all so proud of him helping others.

"Jordan was a fun-loving son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and a friend to many and will be greatly missed by all who knew him." The medic's heartbroken uncle, Robert Mews, told how the family "couldn't be more proud" of his nephe w S humanitarian and infantry efforts.

Robert said: "With permission from my family, I would like to say the following... At the start of the year we were given devastating news about my nephew.

"As some of you are aware, he was volunteering in the war in Ukraine.
