Families see BMW driven towards group standing outside busy burger restaurant

A CAR was deliberately driven at a terrified group of people after an alleged rammy outside a busy McDonald's restaurant.

Families watched in horror as the white BMW 4x4 was seen driving erratically in a car park in East Kilbride.

The occupants of the vehicle are understood to have been involved in an altercation with a number of people outside the popular fast food joint in the Queensway area on Sunday at around 2.25pm.

Moments later the car reversed at speed into a group of men and a woman forcing them to flee for cover.

The disturbance was captured on camera by a member of the public.

The shocking video footage shows the white car reversing towards a group of four people, who are standing outside the restaurant.

The group can then be seen attempting to chase the vehicle as it drives away.
