A YELLOW weather warning for heavy rain to batter central Scotland has been issued by the Met Office.
A slow-moving band of rain hit western, central and southwestern Scotland last night and continues today.
Areas including the north, east and South Ayrshire, East Renfrewshire, Renfrewshire, Inverclyde, South Lanarkshire, West Dunbartonshire and Argyll and Bute will all be hit by the heavy downpours.
