FORESTRY WORKER IS KILLED IN QUAD BIKE ACCIDENT

A FORESTRY worker has died after being crushed by her own quad bike.

Charlotte Lawrence, 33, was killed near Pitlochry, Perthshire, when the all-terrain vehicle she was travelling on flipped and landed on her.

It is believed Charlotte, also known as Lotte, was working in a forestry plantation at the time of the accident.

Her dad, William, has since led tributes to his "darling daughter".

He said: "My darling daughter and only child, Charlotte, was killed in a horrible, awful, terrible, tragic quad bike accident in Scotland. She was at work managing trees in a forestry plantation on a mountain near Pitlochry.
