FORMER actor Laurence Fox was arrested yesterday after saying he wanted to "tear down" ULEZ enforcement cameras.
He was held on suspicion of conspiracy to cause criminal damage, hours before GB News announced he had been sacked over a sexist rant aimed at a journalist.
Footage posted online yesterday by the Reclaim Party - of which Fox, 45, is co-founder and leader showed police officers searching the former actor's home.
On a podcast hosted by activist Maajid Nawaz, published on Monday, Fox said he wanted to destroy cameras put up to enforce London's ultra-low emission zone.
He said: "I will tear down cameras. I put my money where my mouth is.
"I will be out there T with my angle grinder. I would be happy to be arrested.
