GET ON WITH ENDING DRUG DEATH SHAME

SCOTTISH Secretary lan Murray has urged the SNP government to "get on" with cutting the number of drug deaths.

A statement is expected to be made today by the government on the nation still having the highest rate of drug deaths in western Europe.

Figures showed an increase of 121 deaths from 2022 to 1172 last year.
