AS dazzling as his football skills, Pele's golden coffin is a fitting tribute to the star who died aged 82 in December.

It sits on green artificial turf and one wall is covered with a mural showing massed supporters cheering him on at his beloved Santos stadium, which is less than half a mile away.

The angle brackets are in the shape of the Jules Rimet World Cup, which Pele famously won three times.

Also included in the incredible memorial space are No10 shirts for both the Brazilian national team and Pele's club Santos.

Two golden statues of the star stand at the entrance of the 2000 square foot mausoleum to greet fans arriving to pay homage to their hero.
