A SECURITY guard has denied plotting with a US hitman to kidnap and murder TV presenter Holly Willoughby.
Gavin Plumb, 36, is accused of having contact with a "third party" in America to snatch and kill the former This Morning host.
According to the charges, he allegedly "solicited, encouraged, persuaded, endeavoured to persuade" a third party to murder&nbsp;Holly, 42. At the hearing at Chelmsford crown court, in Essex, Plumb was wearing a grey T-shirt and touched his face as the details were heard.
He spoke only to confirm his name and entered not guilty pleas to the two charges.
Judge Mary Loram KC told Plumb that he would face a trial next year and remanded him in custody.

She said the trial "will&nbsp;take place on June 24 next year.
Plumb, who worked at a shopping centre in Harlow, Essex, was arrested last month at his home in the town.
On October 5, Holly pulled out of presenting This Morning after learning of the alleged plot, which reportedly left her "distraught".
She eventually quit the show, saying that it was a "difficult goodbye".
She had joined in 2009.
