GUN KILLER TO APPEAL CONVICTION

A MAN who was jailed for murdering his brother-in-law in a shotgun rampage on Skye intends to appeal his conviction and sentence.

Finlay MacDonald, 41, was jailed for at least 28 years for killing his brotherin-law and attempting to kill his wife and two other people in August 2022.

He stabbed wife Rowena at home before driving to kill his brother-in-law John MacKinnon. He then drove for 40 minutes before shooting Fay MacKenzie and her husband John.
