Kyogo's the king of Hampden as Sakala fails to deliver
What's not debatable is that the Celtic striker is a fabulous goalscorer. And, for the second season running, the Japanese hero slapped green and white ribbons around the Viaplay Cup.
Kyogo's strikes either side of the interval took his tally for the campaign to 24 and cemented his status as a Celtic icon.
Much the same is felt by Parkhead supporters about the man who signed the Asian hero.
Ange Postecoglou just keeps on delivering wins and trophies. It's almost as if they are going out of Fashion.
Rangers ace Sakala may have excitedly claimed in the build-up to Hampden that his team and club were bigger and better.
Nothing wrong with a bit of confidence but evidence on the park didn't back up the claims of the Zambian.
Celtic are kings right now and it's three domestic trophies out of four for Postecoglou. This is a manager who is clearly capable of upholding his and the club's standards.
He may have ditched a meal with his pals after losing to Rangers at Hampden last season but as he gobbled up another piece of silverware, he's firmly perched in the top seat of Scottish football's table.
Michael Beale faces a job to unseat him. The Rangers boss is barely in the door and to have secured a trophy inside 15 games would have been a tremendous way to really kick-off his reign.
It wasn't to be. His team didn't get going until it was too late after a timid start. Alfredo Morelos' close-range finish gave his side a fighting chance in the final half an hour but it wasn't enough.
Kyogo had inflicted too much irreparable damage.
